Newark, New York is not spring, as the basis for horticultural genius mind. Firstly, Jackson & Perkins specializes in the sale of wine grapes and strawberries. At that time the nursery has done little in the field of hybrid plants. Mr. Miller would change that. In his spare time he began experimenting with breeding increased. In 1901, he had a new strain; Jackson & Perkins has started to develop the market. The company has expanded the market and a full range of perennials, ground covers, garden tools, garden ornaments, gifts, lamps, tools, plants, and of course the sale of roses. From humble beginnings as a small local company, this story is not unlike the power, what happens in America when hard work, passion, vision, belief in capitalism, and the smallest bit of happiness together, mix to a firm, the estimated production of Flower lovers, gardeners and rose lovers around the world.

As I write this piece, I am surrounded by the spring in full bloom. Growth, gives new life and wealth springing up everywhere after a very hard and long winter.
